Career Changed Puppies 2000

Faraday

Of course it was Easter Day and guide dog puppies became rabbits for a few hours. At 6 months of age, Faraday definitely qualifies as a big boy - 66 pounds of furry love. Faraday is being co-raised by Nona Toledo and Frank & Josee Kee. The relationship is wonderful. At Nona's house, Faraday has other animal friends; at Frank & Josee he is the only child. Some think that Faraday barks with Josee's French -Canadian accent. He is very special.

In Memory: Tears and sadness mark his passing. To those who loved him, Faraday will be remembered always. 3/3/04

Necco

Necco has begun his new life as the career change companion to Dorothy Knight. He still attends club meetings and is a role model of good behavior. Here Necco demonstrates how to resist a tempting dog biscuit at a retirement home presentation.

Ravel

On August 6, 1999 Nona and Christy Toledo picked up Ravel during the annual San Rafael Fun Day. He has now become the younger brother to Chevron (at least until Chrevon is recalled in mid September). Family dog P.J. has taken Ravel under his wing and has protected him from the family cat. "We dogs need to stick together," said P.J.

Ribbon

As you can tell by the picture, Katelyn McDowell loves little puppies. But, puppies that don't yet sleep through the night are hard work. If you ask the other dogs in the house, guide dog puppy Cosette (14 months old) and career changed Thelma (3 years old) what they think of Ribbon, they will tell you she is a pest.
